Nursery
The
nursery at McPheeters Turf, Inc. began as an FFA project with a few one gallon juniper shrubs. It has grown
to be a nursery today with a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, bunch grasses and native trees and plants
that are specifically for Central Oregon. Most all of our products have wintered here at least one winter.
Below we list just a few of the varieties that are available in the nursery that has been called, "The Nursery with a View".
Perennials:
Daylilies, Sedum, Hostas, Scotch & Iris Moss, Irises, Kinnickinnick, Ornamental Grasses, Russian Sage,
Snow-n-Summer, Coreopsis, Coneflowers, and more.
Shrubs:
Barberry, Spiraea, Lilac, Burning Bush,
Mugo Pine, Juniper, Rhododendron, Sumac, Serviceberry, Chokeberry,
Forsythia, Snowberry, and more.
Trees:
Aspen, Maple, Birch, Flowering Plum &
Crabapples, Oak, Mountain Ash, Austrian Pine, Colorado
Spruce, Mayday, and more.
Also, Specimen size trees (2" + caliper) available
in
Balled & Burlapped (B&B). See the page on our website

True Central Oregon Natives:
Juniper Trees, Sagebrush, Bitterbrush, and Rabbitbrush.
(we are currently out of stock of all
natives, but will have more in Spring 2012)
Other Oregon Natives:
Golden Currant and Oregon Grape.
Fruit Trees and Bushes:
Gravenstien Apples, Haralred Apples, Honeycrisp Apples, Zestar!
Apples, Parker Pear, Patten Pear, Toka Plum, Superior Plum and Canada Plum (Wild, medium-size, red plums. B&B).
We also have a variety of grape vines and blueberries.
