Turf

McPheeters Turf cuts sod by order only on the day you want it. It can be picked up at the farm. You can also schedule to pick it up in Bend at Instant Landscaping or Landsystems Nursery. Both companies will also deliver your sod to your yard.

If it's not McPheeters Turf, it's just grass.

*Advantage Turf (Bluegrass/Ryegrass) $0.21/sq. ft. Picked

up at the farm.

Grown for its durability in Central Oregon climate.

*Classic Turf (Bluegrass/Ryegrass/Fescue) $0.20/sq. ft.

Picked up at the farm.

Great sun and/or shade tolerant variety.

*Turf Type Tall Fescue $0.20/sq. ft. Picked up at the farm.

Tough for hot and dry climate, non-manicured look.

Nursery

Our plants and trees are selected for our local climate for success in your landscape.

*Annuals & Perennials Pansies, Petunias, Daylilies, Sedum,

Thyme, Hostas, Ornamental Grasses, Russian Sage, and more.

*Shrubs Barberry, Spiraea, Lilac, Burning Bush, Mugo Pine, Juniper,

Holly, Rhododendron, Rock Daphne, and more.

*Trees Aspen, Maple, Birch, Flowering Plum & Crabapples, Oak, Ash,

Pine, Spruce, Mayday, and more. Also, Specimen size trees

(2" + caliper) available in Balled & Burlapped (B&B). See the

page on our website titled "Specimen Trees" for varieties.

*Natives Juniper Trees, Sagebrush, Bitterbrush, and Rabbitbrush.

*Fruit Trees Apple Trees and Pear Trees (limited supply of each)

Fertilizer

At McPheeters Turf, we use a formulated blend of fertilizer called Wil-Cote on our turf fields. We make this fertilizer available to you in four varieties, color coded for your convienence.

*Blue 20-6-6-5 w/50% slow A slow release fertilizer good for most

lawns that already have a good green color.

*Red 20-6-6-4-2 w/50% slow Also a slow release fertilizer like the blue

but contains iron to quickly give the grass a rich green color.

*Yellow 20-6-6-5-2 An immediate release fertilizer with iron. The

yellow is good for those lawns that have missed a fertilization and

are in immediate need of nutrients.

*Pink 16-16-16-7 A pre-plant fertilizer if you wish to seed your lawn.

Also a good fertilizer for trees and shrubs.
